Driving Jobs
Take the job at City Hall, go to the depot, and grab the vehicle. Drive the route. Bring the vehicle back.
| Job | Where | What you do | Pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trucker | Trucking Depot, Port of Los Santos | Hook up a trailer and haul it to another depot. | Per delivery (roughly $100–120 a drop). Longer runs pay more. |
| Taxi | Taxi Depot (Downtown Cab Co.) | Pick up fares and drive them where they ask. | Per fare, by distance. |
| Bus | Bus Depot, downtown | Drive a set route and stop at every stop. | Per stop. |
| Tow Truck | Towing HQ, south Los Santos | Take a flatbed, find broken-down cars, drop them at the yard. | Per car recovered. |
| Garbage | Garbage Depot, south Los Santos | Drive the bin lorry and empty every bin on the route. | Per bin, plus a bonus for finishing. |
| News Reporter | Weazel News, Little Seoul | Chase stories and file them. | Per story. |
Route Jobs
Same idea for all six. Sign a route out at the depot and you get a vehicle and a set of stops on the map. Do them in any order, then bring the vehicle back for the finishing bonus. Every stop is a real object in the world: an actual letterbox, parking meter, or vending machine.
| Route | Job / Depot | What you do | Pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mail Round | Go Postal — GoPostal HQ | 8–10 houses. Letters go in the letterbox. Parcels come out of the van and go on the step, and some need a signature, so ring and wait. | $55–85 a stop, parcels $95–140, +$250 bonus |
| Postbox Collection | Go Postal — GoPostal HQ | Empty 6–8 blue postboxes spread across the city. | $70–100 a box, paid on return, +$300 |
| Paper Round | Paper Route — Weazel News | Refill 10–12 newspaper boxes on a scooter. | $35–55 a box, +$200 |
| Vending Restock | Vending Services — Vending Depot, Davis | Carry a crate from the van to 6–8 vending machines. | $90–140 a machine, +$300 |
| Meter Collection | City Parking — City Hall front desk | Empty 10–12 parking meters, bank the coins at City Hall. | $45–70 a meter, paid on return, +$250 |
| Recycling Pickup | Recycling Collector — Recycling Centre | Bag 6–8 recycling bins, load the truck, weigh it in. | $70–100 a bin, paid on return, +$300, and you keep some sorted materials |
| Utility Inspection | Electrical Technician — Power Station | Inspect 6–8 street cabinets. About 4 in 10 have a fault to fix, and a botched fix shocks you. | $90–130 a cabinet, +$60 per fault fixed, +$300 |
A full route is roughly $700–1,300 for 15–20 minutes.
Trades & Industry
Construction Worker
- Start: sign on with the foreman at the downtown construction site, or take the job at City Hall.
- Do: rent the flatbed ($500, $200 back when you return it). Haul materials to the site, craft parts at the workbench from plastic, steel, aluminium, rubber, and glass, then build.
- Pay: $6,000 for a windmill, $8,000 for a house, paid when the build is signed off.
Electrical Technician
- Start: City Hall, then the Power Station.
- Do: repair generator parts on site, or run the Utility Inspection route above.
- Pay: site work $500–4,500 depending on the tier, plus salvage.
Road Crew (DOT)
- Start: City Hall, then the DOT Depot in Davis. The truck is provided.
- Do: drive to the site, place 4 cones, fix the road (potholes, lines, signs, drains), and pick the cones back up. Five sites make a shift.
- Pay: $320 a site, +$40 more for every site in a row, and +$900 for finishing the whole shift without clocking off.
Port Dockhand
- Start: City Hall, then clock in outside the dock office at the Port of Los Santos.
- Do: drive the yellow handler crane to a container stack and line the frame up. It grabs the container on its own. Drive it to a drop point and press E to release.
- Legit drop (by the office): $120–180 per container, every time.
- The side door: about 1 in 4 containers is hot (full of contraband). Look at a container and pick Check manifest to find out. Take a hot one to the unmarked far corner of the yard for $250–400 plus 1–3 weed bricks. There's a 40% chance someone calls the police. A clean container dropped in that corner pays nothing, so check first.
- Hot runs also build standing with the Family.
Welder / Fabricator
- Start: City Hall. Use the Fabrication Bench in Sandy Shores.
- Do: turn scrap metal into repair kits, toolkits, and bodyshop supplies. Dumpsters and the scrapyard are full of scrap.
- Pay: sell what you make to the mechanic shops.
Mechanic
- Start: you get hired by a shop. It isn't at the job centre.
- Do: repair and modify other people's cars using repair kits and toolkits. You can use the Fabrication Bench too.
- Pay: whatever you charge, plus job pay.
Security & Diving
Gruppe Sechs Guard
- Start: City Hall, then the Gruppe Sechs Depot in Pillbox Hill. You get an armoured Stockade van.
- Do: 6 pickups at Fleeca branches, ATMs, and Pacific Standard. Carry 1–3 cash bags from each to the van, then deliver them all back to the depot.
- Pay: $450–900 a bag, plus $1,200 for the full run. One of the best-paying legal jobs.
- The catch: any player with an advanced lockpick can crack your van's back doors in 20 seconds and walk off with 60% of the bags. Watch your van.
Dive Instructor
- Start: City Hall, then the Dive School on the Vespucci pier front. You need diving gear.
- Do: take 3 students out to a dive site, get at least 3 m underwater with them, and run the lesson (regulator check, mask clearing, buoyancy, ascent).
- Pay: $550 a student, plus $1,400 for finishing a full course of three.
No Job Needed
Show up and do it. Nothing to sign.
| Activity | Where | What you do & what you need | Pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lumber Yard | Paleto Forest | Fell trees, cut logs, turn them into planks. | Logs and planks, sold at the yard |
| Mine | Mineshaft, Great Chaparral | Dig ore and smelt it. Bring a pickaxe. | Ore and ingots, sold on site |
| Vineyard | Tongva Hills | Pick grapes. | Per crate |
| Oil Pumpjacks | Oil fields in east Los Santos and the Grand Senora Desert | Stand at a pumpjack and extract. Each jack needs 4 minutes to refill, so move between them. | 2–4 crude per pull, $35 each at the Crude Oil Buyer |
| Wreck Salvage | Hundreds of real wrecks across the map | Search a wreck (7 seconds). Each wreck needs 5 minutes to refill. | Scrap metal ($12) and salvage parts ($40), sold to the Scrap Buyer by the scrapyard |
| Recycling Centre | La Mesa | Break junk down into plastic, metal, aluminium, and copper. | Crafting materials, or sell them |
| Hunting | Hunting grounds, north of the map | Hunting licence, a suitable weapon, a knife. A clean one-shot kill gives a pristine pelt. | Pelts to the Trapper, meat to the Butcher |
| Fishing | Coast, piers, lakes | Rod and bait from the Hunting & Fishing Shop. | Fish, sold on the spot |
| Diving | Off the coast | Diving gear. | Salvage from the seabed |
| Farming | Countryside | Plant, water, harvest, process. Seeds from the Seed Dealer. | Crops, sold on |
| Pizza Boy | Pizza place, Downtown Vinewood | $100 deposit for the car. Deliver 4 pizzas. | $100 a pizza, $150 back when you return the car |
| Taco Farmer | Taco stand, Davis | Cook tacos and deliver them. When the kitchen is empty, drive to the Harmony store room for ingredients. | Deliveries $50–312, restock runs $150–250 |
Hunting tips
- How you kill matters. The right weapon and a clean one-shot kill give a pristine pelt, worth three times a poor one.
- Pelts and meat go to two different buyers: pelts to the Trapper (the only buyer for legendary hides) and meat to the Butcher & Smokehouse, who can also smoke it into jerky that's worth more.
Police, EMS & Fire
These aren't self-serve. LSPD, BCSO (Sheriff), SASP (State Police), EMS, and Fire are hired positions. Ask staff in the CTI Discord to get into a department.
Once you're in:
- Open the MDT with
/mdt(F10 by default) and start your shift there. The MDT is your tablet: calls, records, ID and plate lookups. - Callouts come to you. While you're on shift, the Emergency Response Simulator offers AI calls every 2–5 minutes: crimes in progress, crashes, fires, medical calls. Accept one and it's marked on your map.
- Police: run traffic stops (Left Shift to pull someone over), plate cameras, and arrests. On-duty officers never get wanted levels from the AI police.
- EMS: revive and treat downed players, and restock from the Medicine Cabinet at Pillbox Hospital (EMS only).
- Fire: real hoses, supply lines (
/supplyline setupnext to the engine), and fires that spread. - Civilians: press F3 or type
/911to call emergency services.
Owning a Business
| Business | How it works |
|---|---|
| Real Estate | Take the job at City Hall. Nobody can buy a house without an agent, so you're the one selling them. Mortgages need 20% down, and 10% of each sale goes to the agency. |
| Corner Store & Gas Station | Player-run shops. The owner fills the stock room and sets the prices, and the shop sells whatever is in there. An empty stock room means an empty shop. Staff are hired by the owner. |
| Burger Shot | A player-run restaurant. |
| Nightclubs | Buy one outright at its “for sale” board. The club earns into its safe every 15 minutes, scaled by hype (0–100), and hype drains about 4% an hour. Raise it with poster runs (+4 hype a poster, 45-minute cooldown). The safe stops filling when it's full, so collect it. You can also renovate and give staff access to the DJ booth. |
| Musician | Hired job. You need an instrument item (guitar, bass, mic, or drumsticks). Walk up to the stage on the Vespucci boardwalk, pick Solo, NPC Band, or Player Band, and paste up to 6 YouTube links as your setlist. Hit the “Hype the crowd!” prompts. Pay depends on how hyped the crowd was and how many stayed. |
